Hey, Nice to meet you!

My name is Hailey Lyman, and I'm a professional photographer currently based out of Columbia, MO.

When I was 10, my mom bought a Canon Rebel in hopes of teaching herself to take decent family pictures. But after the first time I picked that thing up to 'borrow' it, I'm not sure I ever put it down (sorry Mom). From the flowers in the backyard to the clouds in the sky, I became infatuated with documenting the world around me. Once I got my driver's license, I was unstoppable. Any spare sunset I had was spent exploring backroads, finding the prettiest fields I could. A friend used pictures we created for fun as her senior pictures when I was 16.

It's then I realized,

I just might have something here.

So, meet Hailey Lyman Photography.

It's come a long way since then,

and so have I.  : )

MY highlight reel :

I spent two years with Veteran's United Home Loans as their Photography Intern. Between portraits, SO many unique events, visiting offices across the state, and incredible studio experience; I learned so much and made friends for life.

Corporate gal.

Boo!

That's Ghost.

He's my sweet German Shepherd with a loyal spirit to match. Under his protective exterior, he's a cuddle bug who loves a good butt scratch—but nothing more than his tennis ball. Catch us at the dog park or on the trails!

Brrrr.

I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I've always found a calling to support, understand, and comfort others. I merged these passions in Rochester, Minnesota, where I worked at The Mayo Clinic as a Medical Photographer.
